(...)\"...By virtue of running a horticultural farm, Kuchcinski became involved in the creation and later activities of the Rural Solidarity. The first meeting, initiating the formation of the NSZZ of Individual Farmers \"Solidarity,\" took place at the Przemy\u015bl headquarters of the \"Pax\" Association on September 15, 1980, and was attended by nearly 30 people, including Zdzis\u0142aw Malawski, Maciej Ma\u0142agowski, Andrzej Mo\u0142o\u0144, Wit Siwiec, Jerzy Bonarek and Marek Kuchci\u0144ski. Subsequent meetings took place at the Solidarity headquarters on Kamienny Most, and then, in late November and early December, at the PSM-WSS \"Spo\u0142em\" club on Wincentego Pstrowskiego Street (now Bishop Jakub Glazer). Participants included Jan Kulaj (1958-2020), later chairman of the NSZZ RI \"S\", Stanislaw Pajda and Jan Karus. Kuchci\u0144ski organized the founding meetings of the Rural Solidarity structures together with Jerzy Bonark. They were held, among others, in Ostrow near Przemysl, L\u0119townia, Nehrybka and Hermanowice. Jerzy Bonarek later took part in the Ustrzycko-Rrzesz\u00f3w strikes. Marek Kuchcinski supported the strikes because, as he recalls, he took up gardening (early production of accelerated vegetables) during the winter and spring seasons, which required a constant presence in Przemy\u015bl.
